About the position

Miro is looking for an entrepreneurial Director of Business Development with a background in early-stage healthcare, pharma, or medical device companies. The Business Development Lead is responsible for developing Miro’s business strategy, revenue and reimbursement models and cultivating key strategic partnerships that position the company for growth.

Responsibilities

  • Help develop and execute Miro’s business development and growth strategy

  • Build the pharma + CRO sales pipeline

  • Work with regulatory and insurance groups to gain industry adoption

  • Develop pricing models and reimbursement strategies for Miro services

  • Estimate Miro revenue projections for key disease and service areas

  • Guide the development of BD and marketing materials to achieve business goals

  • Work with product team to integrate key customer needs and revenue-generating services

  • Help Miro establish a competitive positioning

  • Establish key partnerships with CROs, pharma, insurers, and healthcare providers

Requirements

  • 5+ years proven success in role with direct, relevant experience in consultative sales (pharma, healthcare, medical devices, CROs, etc.) and in the development of academic research collaborations

  • Strong analytical, business development, product and finance background

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain and grow senior-level customer relationships

  • Successful launch of a commercial product

  • Experience in pharmaceutical and healthcare sales

  • Demonstrated overachievement against aggressive goals set in previous positions
